Although it had been max 25C during the day, the private room we rented was very hot and did not cool down in the evening, so we had to leave the window open to have a minimum amount of breeze. Outside our room there was a very noisy airconditioning from the shop next door which we heard very clearly even with our earplugs in. Overall, the heat and the noise prevented us from sleeping that night and the employee at the desk could not help us, so we regretted the money spent to such a bad night.

Location is amazing, very close to train station from airport. Also located very close to Gastown. We slept in a 2 person room and it was very small. If I had to share it with a stranger it would have been too small I think. There was a private bathroom for women and it was clean and there was a shower and two toilets.

The hostel has a nice location to the waterfront and train stations. It was very quiet during our stay (April). However, the kitchen is too small to accommodate all travelers (only one stove with 2 pits and one fridge for everyone). There is only room for 2 people in the kitchen at a time. The private room is okay, just very small.
