The Jack Backpackers

Located only 2 minutes from all the major shopping centre's, city attractions, nightclubs, and the Lagoon! The Jack is the PERFECT place for travellers wanting to visit the GREAT BARRIER REEF and the DAINTREE RAINFOREST. Our travel desk offers great DISCOUNTS and local knowledge.

Please be aware that The Jack Backpackers is a licensed venue. Live entertainment can be heard in the beer garden from 6pm until 2am, mainly on weekends.

Reception open hours: 9am - 19:00pm. If you are planning a late check-in after 19:00 pm. Please call our friendly reception team at your earliest convenience to arrange a late check in. Alternatively call our night security (number will be show on your booking confirmation). Please also note that The Jack Backpackers is an International Youth Hostel and Dormitory rooms are exclusively available for International guests only. Private rooms are available for Non-Internationals guests. We only accept bookings with a valid passport or photo ID and credit card details will be required upon check-in. The Jack Backpackers is unsuitable for persons under the age of 18. Bookings made by any guests under the age of 18 will not be accepted and will be asked to cancel their booking.

House Rules:
• Check in at 14:00pm and Check out 11:00am
• Curfew is a 22:00pm as we need to be respectful towards all our guests that may have tours booked or work the following day. NO NOISE.
