Hostel AVA is located in the very heart of Ljubljana in a beautiful historic building, which primarily accommodates the Academy of Visual Arts.
All premises that are available to our guests seethe with creative energy. All rooms are housed in student's studios and drawing rooms, which gives the hostel a unique character.
Our friendly staff will warmly welcome you and gladly provide you with the information about our capital and offer you some useful tips on how to spend your time in Ljubljana in the best possible way.
Hostel AVA is open all year round. In the period from 1st July to 30th September when the Academy of Visual Arts is closed for summer holidays we can accommodate 69 guests. For the rest of the year we can provide accommodation for 37 guests. At affordable prices we offer private twin rooms and five dorm types - 3 beds, 4 beds, 5 beds, 8 beds and 12 beds.
There is an additional tourist tax for person under the age of 30 is 2.07, above the age of 30 is 3.13 euro per person per night

Goede locatie in het locatie midden in het centrum. Heel basic niks extra’s alleen bed in de kamer met een bank. Voelt heel veroudert. Maar prima voor een nacht

It had everything a hostel needed, but the beds were uncomfortable and there was a lot of dust on the floor. There were also weird children's toys under one of the beds which showed us that the staff does not pay a lot of attention when cleaning the rooms. the showers were fine though, the wifi was great, and there was a fridge which we were able to use. The location was also super central so I don't regret our choice to stay here (eventhough we mainly stayed here because we booked very late).

Dit hostel was een van de slechtste waar ik ooit heb gebleven. Bij aankomst moesten we 10x bellen omdat niemand opendeed. Vervolgens kregen we een kamer waar we zelf de bedden moesten opmaken. De matrassen waren zo smerig en zaten vol met grote zwarte vlekken. Daarnaast lagen de matrassen slecht. We hebben de hele nacht kriebelgevoel gehad. Verder was er nooit iemand bij de receptie.
De locatie daarentegen was helemaal geweldig. Het hostel zou heel goed kunnen zijn als ze wat investeerden.
