The breakfast is good. The rooms are noisy, but thats because it's an awesome old building. The location is good accept if u wanna be in an area thats more alive like mission district. Public transport is very close. If u are travelling alone I would not recommend to stay here because there was no atmosphere at all, the hostel have activities but nobody joined...

The location makes this hostel a good place to stay. The kitchen, lounge and cafe are all good and clean. The rooms however really need some updating (not enough outlets, no night-lights, broken ceilings). Hostel has a lot of potential, but I really wish they would take better care of rooms and showers.
