The centre of Munich is pretty special, but there are some little-known treats further out that a lot of travellers miss. HI Munich-Park is a five minute walk from Munich Zoo and surrounded by some of the city’s most beautiful parks. Just a short metro ride from the city centre, the hostel is hidden in the greenery of the outskirts –perfect if you want to stay close to the city lights but still need a little peace and quiet. Reviewers have been impressed by the ‘architect’s dream of a building’, with colourful décor and just 400 metres from the station.

HI Munich Park Hostel, the modern hostel in the green south of Munich. We are not downtown party hostel, but with metro its just 8 minutes to the City center.

Important: For a stay with us a Hostelling International Membership is required. International guests without membership pay a surcharge of 3,50 Euro for the first 6 nights to obtain a full membership for the use of more than 4.000 Youth Hostels worldwide. German residents can become a member of the German Youth Hostel Association for 12,50 Euro per year (older than 26 years and for families: 22,50 Euro) upon arrival.
Prices apply to guests younger than 26 years. Guests older than 26 years pay a surcharge of 4,00 Euro per person and night .
We offer cosy accomodation in 374 beds in 38 two-bed, 53 four-bed and 13 six-bed rooms, all with bunk beds and ensuite bathroom.
We welcome backpackers, families, business travelers, school groups and more as guests. A little bistro and vending machines are to be found beside the reception area. Our guests can relax in 3 chill out rooms in the ground floor and in our spacious area in the basement.
We don't have a guest kitchen.

Het Hostel ligt ongeveer 5-10 minuten lopen naar de U-Bahn richting het centrum, Ook vlakbij is de rivier de Isar waar je met warm weer even een duikje kan nemen. De kamer was schoon en ruim. Wat een groot pluspunt is, is dat er voor elke gast een eigen kluis is in de kamer waardoor je je spullen veilig kan opbergen als je weggaat.
Het ontbijt was uitgebreid en goed verzorgd.

only: DO NOT BOOK if you're 17 to 30 years old. This really is a childs hostel.

Clean, comfortable and safe. Our family room had two bunk beds and space for a small table. The breakfast buffet was great, and we had dinner at the hostel one evening, which was great value. Quite a long way out of the city, but very easy to reach on the underground.
