The Royal Rat hostel has a number of options of you want to eat out. We have a few bars and restaurants within walking distance or street food located in Seine Bight, just a short bike ride away.
If you are coming by Bus, you can ask the bus driver to stop outside our Hostel. I recommend you put The Royal Rat Hostel in you Google Map and it will bring you straight to us.
All tours can be easily accessible from The Royal Rat Hostel.
The Royal Rat Hostel Policy and Condition:
Cancellation Policy: 14 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

to be honest. this is a great hostel. very clean and super nice andhelp full owners. i stayed 3 days and had a super good stay.

This is a great hostel in an area with just expensive hotels. The hostel is clean and has a pool and the owners are super nice. They helped me get food after I arrived quite late. There are bikes to use for free and they also have a pool bar. It was closed when I was there but I can imagine the vibes in the weekend to be pretty good. Definitely recommend if you have to pass through Placencia or want to see the town!

We had a fantastic stay at the Royal Rat! Our hosts Sheila and Mark were so kind and helpful. They helped us set up tours, and had great recommendations for things to do and places to see in Placencia. The accommodations were great, we were able to do laundry and cook. It had a very relaxing vibe which was nice. The courtyard area was great, we spent a lot of time in the pool. The hostel is about 20 minutes away from town by bike, but they were free to use so it was easy to get to and from town. We would de
