The stay is worth your money! The owner of the place is incredibly nice and will help you with anything! They also offer the Ijen tour with special cheaper price which is very nice. They also offered me a shuttlecar to bring me to Probolingo for a reduced price! The stay is alright, sometimes noisy from outside, but you won’t sleep a lot anyways if you’re going to do the Ijen. You can also refill your bottle with water for free.
After the Ijen hike you get a really good breakfast!

Although the accommodation is simple, it is clean and well-maintained. The location is great for a tour to Ijen and walking distance to the ferry. They organise tours to Ijen which are reasonably priced as well. The same goes for the breakfast (up to five different types of fruit). But above all the main selling point of Ijen Backpacker is the staff that is super friendly and willing to help with anything.
