R&R Haven Guesthouse

I'm English, born overseas. Rendai is Iban. We moved here in 2010, and decided the location in the Borneo Highlands rain forest was too good to keep just for us. So we renovated the original house (traditional with block ground floor & wooden to floor), for guests. It's an ideal place to relax after exploring the area. Enjoy hot showers, air-con, a kitchen or cooked meals to order, internet connection, books, games and a guitar. If you value a small, family-run enterprise and are interested in local customs and lifestyle, then you're welcome to come and visit.

The guesthouse is at the back of our plot, so there is always someone around to help. There are fishponds, fruit trees, an organic garden, all surrounded by the rain forest.
In easy reach of Ana Rais longhouse, OranUtang sanctuary, Fairy & Wind caves, Borneo Highlands Resort, Serekei border town & market, kayaking, hiking, and local towns & markets.

Our guests will get: a fabulous environment to enjoy, local cultural input and a programmer of events tailored to suit your needs.

Since we're an hour from Kuching, most guests need transport. We run a collection/drop-off service from anywhere in Kuching, or hire a Grab, or rent a car (ours are cheaper but not always available.)

***Property Policies & Conditions:

1. Cancellation policy: At least 2 days advance notice for free cancellation.
2. Check in from 09:00 to 19:00.
3. Check out flexible.
4. Payment upon arrival by cash.
5. No Smoking inside buildings. Outside is ok.
6. Age restriction: NO. (Minors are the responsibility of accompanying adults.)
7. Honesty policy for drinks & food items on sale.
8. Reception working hours 09:00-19:00.
9. No large downloads (e.g. films, videos) on internet.
