I had a warm welcome from David, who gave me advise about what to see and go in Rome. I had a room (incl fan) with external bathroom, which was just next to my room, which was fine. The accommodation need to be updated a bit, but the location was perfect, close to the metrostation and Basilica di S. Giovanni in Laterano. Must visit!
One concern was, when I checked out and got my bags, I found a lot of ants underneath my bag, which I didn’t use during my stay. I wasn’t aware they were there.

Very very basic and dated room. 20 minute walk to the colosseum. The wifi didn’t work in my room was probably the main problem for me, as I needed this for work, but I believe that was because I was just too far away from the router. No social space at all. Also it says free breakfast included but that isn’t true. If you are coming to Rome and don’t plan to be in the room much, then it is a cheap option for having some privacy. But I wouldn’t stay here again

David is an amazing host. He did his best to accommodate my senior parent needs. The rooms was cozy, clean and everything worked as expected. If we go back to Rome, for sure we will stay there.
