Juha's guesthouse is located in an Arab coastal village with the seaside just a 10 minute walk away. We got welcomed warmly with a cup of coffee and got a tour around the guesthouse. It's decorated beautifully, clean, has all the facilities you need and has a balcony that looks over the vibrant streets of Jisr Az Zarqa. Juha's family also has a beautiful cafe at the beach where we were served amazing breakfast in the serene scene of an empty beach. I would recommend to travel by car!

So the only 2 things I took points for was staff and security. As for staff they were pleasant but also almost nonexistent. When I arrived I waited 30-45 min to be let in as there was nobody there. And as for security there is a coded lock on the door but this hostel is in a poor Palestine village. So when I first arrived I felt somewhat unsafe. After getting checked in however I went to a cafe and had a very pleasant time some local people. I still didn’t feel entirely “safe†but I was ok.
