Guests have a range of rooms to choose from such as four bed dormitories, triple, twin, double and single rooms, some with ensuites. Towels, blankets, and sheets are available for hire.
There are modern shared bathroom facilities, a large commercial kitchen, a spacious television room, dining room and even a sun room for guest use. All bedrooms and the main living areas are heated during winter and the cooler months for guest comfort.
Free DVDs, tour desk, WIFI and internet kiosks are also available for the guest's use. Launceston Backpackers also has a large off street car park which is locked each night.

This is a large hostel, so not really cozy. Well equipped kitchen. The rooms are large and you have a lot of space around the beds, although a little cold. The showers are hot, clean and roomy! The location to visit the center and the gorge is the best.

It is not exactly at backpackers place. It is a house for workers. The place it is not clean at all. The personel where fine with me but it is not a proper place to spend a nigth or even a Day. It is very dirty and in a not backpackers enviroment.
I would not recomend it, even being That cheep.

Not sure where to start on this …arrived late at night about 12AM and the door was wide open to the hostel,the beds where rock hard would have rather slept in the car.The hostel gives out vibes of a place in a horror movie,they said they was fully booked the next night as we struggled to find accommodation but the place is like a ghost town very weird.checkout was 10 but got woken up by some very rude cleaner who came into our room at 9 in the morning saying we needed to leave soon .
