Hostelworld zegt
It?s no exaggeration to say this is one of the best known hostels in the world. Most will know of its legend simply by word of mouth. It?s located right in the centre of the city smack bang in the middle of all the action, with the red light district and Dam Square mere steps away. The place is lively without being unbearable. It doesn?t accept stag or hen do?s, sports groups or massive marauding all-male parties, so you can expect the hostel bar and overall atmosphere of the place to be fun and lively, but not too boisterous.

the location is perfect, the rooms were nice and big enough (12 bedroom mixed dorm) and the sanitary was clean every day. The lockers in the room didn't have locks so you have to bring your own. I really enjoyed my stay at night.
The common room however, was more just a cafe that anybody could enter all day long, and it is a marihuana only cafe, so actually just a big room full of smoking people. It was not really place to meet other travellors or socializing, nor was it calm.
