There are generally three things travellers look for in accommodation; great location, friendly service and comfort. Palmers Lodge nails all three. Situated right in the centre of the city, it’s close to all the city’s cultural attractions, restaurants and bars (the latter especially important considering the hostel’s raucous pub crawls). Not only that, but they also arrange day trips the gorgeous Plitvice Lakes. In the hostel itself the beds are comfy and each is supplied with its own reading lamp and power point. There’s free WiFi for all and ensuite kitchenettes for those booking into the deluxe privates.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in the common areas of the hostel. All rooms and dormitories are air-conditioned and come with parquet floors. The upper floor rooms are accessible via stairs only.
Number of restaurants is easily accessible in the city centre. During the summer season, owners can organise day trips to Plitvice Lakes, pub crawls in Zagreb and similar activities.
There is a tram stop right in front of the Palmers Lodge Hostel. Main Bus Station is only 3 stops away, and it also offers shuttle service to and from Zagreb Airport.
Several museums and other cultural institutions can be reached in a 10-minute walk. Zagreb Cathedral and the vibrant Ilica promenade street are within 1.3 km from the hostel.

Het hostel is vlakbij het trein- en busstation gelegen. Doordat het naast een drukke weg ligt trilt het wel erg, desalniettemin is het een mooi hostel met alle voorzieningen. Het personeel is erg aardig maar had wel een fout gemaakt met de betaling (bij meerdere gasten tijdens ons verblijf), let er dus op dat je het goede bedrag betaalt!

Conveniently located near the bus station, room was very noisy because of the tram passing by, but with earplugs it was okay. Bathroom smelled of sewer every now and then. Not much of an atmosphere. Bed was comfortable.

Nice hostel. Easy to get in contact with other people and really good located!! 6 min walk from the station. People were also really nice of course. I made some great meals in the kitchen as well!
