This is the best hostel I stayed in during my 2 months of traveling in Japan! The host, Kyoko, is the nicest person you'll meet and ahe gives great advice on what to do in Himeji. The place was really clean and the beds were just so big! The common place was cozy as well and the location was great, really close to the station and the castle. I'm definitely coming back here if I'm in Himeji again. I had a wonderful time Kyoko! Love, Mari

Great hostel, amazing location, wonderful stay. One thing to keep in mind is that you can't be in the common room during the day (the owner reminds you of this in a welcome email but I missed it initially in reading mine!). Amazing stay would go again!

One of my favorite spots I went to during my trip. The hostel was well-priced, super cozy, and clean. Multiple showers and restrooms which was a nice change from a few other hostels I had stayed at on my trip in Japan. The location is super close to the Himeji-jo and was super convenient, can't recommend it enough. They offer some lockers for you to put your stuff in which was super nice. I arrived way earlier than check-in and the hostel was not open so if you don't give a heads up you will not be able to
