Overall it’s a nice hostel. It’s social, the staff is nice and the common rooms/area’s are good. We were in a 6 dorm mixed room and it was really small and it smelled a bit weird in the room. Also my bed was unclean when we arrived. The woman at the reception took good care of my unclean bed, but still. The rooms are cleaned everyday so that is nice.

I had fallen ill (with dengue) and so I was looking for a quieter hostel, and that’s how I ended up at Viajero Hostel. I’m so glad I did! The team offered incredible support during my recovery and was always available with friendly and helpful service at the reception. They were flexible and didn’t make any fuss about adjusting my reservations. It was a pleasant stay with a great atmosphere and friendly people. Special thanks to Itzel, Pato and the rest of the team for their amazing care.
