Even though this hostel has only been open for one month or so and this was only our first week in Mexico, we knew that after visiting Casa Maya our bar for hostels was set extremely high. The athmosphere was amazing and the staff was extremely nice and helpfull. Even though they don’t have lockers yet, you can trust the staff completely when they say they will look out for your stuff. They have a great washing machine plus dryer. And they have a bathroom in the building, plus six other bathrooms in another

Pretty small hostel. Most of beds are in one large dorm with a decent a/c. You can definitely feel the springs in the mattress. The whole place was very clean. There is an outdoor sitting area in the back and an indoor sitting area in the front but not much social while I was there. Staff was friendly.

We had a great time at Casa Maya :) It's a new hostel that just opened, everything is in good condition, nice bathrooms and comfortable beds. And there is a beautiful space outside to relax. The owner made us feel at home right away and was up for a lot of fun, talks and activities. We will surely come back to see how the mural turns out :) Gracias Manrique por el tiempo lindo!
