Andes Hostel is the place for you! We are a hostel located just 5 minutes walking from the main square of Huaraz, Peru. We specialize in working with backpackers, hikers, and climbers, offering a variety of adventure travel and affordable accommodation options.
Our guests can choose from dorm-style rooms, private rooms, and private baths.

We hadden een privé kamer geboekt maar bij aankomst bleek hun administratie neit op orde dus konden we alleen in een dorm verblijven. Van een kamergenoot hoorden we dat haar reservering ook niet goed was doorgekomen, dus dit komt blijkbaar vaker voor. Erg matig. Verder werd er op zondag geen ontbijt geserveerd, wat niet vermeld staat bij de boeking. Sfeer is redelijk .

If value is high on your priority list, this is a good option. Great rates while including a nice breakfast is impressive. Kitchen has a couple of stoves which allows more people to cook (more money saved). Some dorms are probably bigger than others, certainly some are cramped. Some small lockers on the top floor. Common spaces are a bit limited, with the downstairs one shared with the owners + friends/family. Main drawback is the noise from the common areas travelling all over the hostel.
