Sunset Hut Hostel and Campsite

Our hostel and camping site is located in a small fishing town called "El Paraiso" which translates to "Paradise", overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Located over a cliff with direct access to the beach, you will be able to enjoy full view of the bay where we experience the most spectacular sunset, thus our name! You will be able to enjoy our Gastro pub "The Black Pug", selling a variety of national and international beers and the most delicious burgers, tacos and appetizers.

Our hostel offers a container shared room with 8 twin beds and an ensuite bathroom, 2 private rooms each with their bathrooms for 2 guests each, 2 glamping tents for 4 guests each, and camping space for your tent, or we can rent out our tents to you as well. We also offer parking space for campers as well. All of our rooms have air conditioning, Wi-Fi signal, fans, sheets, and comfortable beds and pillows. Our private rooms have a deck and hammock, and a private second floor with hut tubs where you can hang out to watch the sunsets or the starry nights!

Our price includes continental breakfasts for all guests as well and you will have access to our communal space where you will find our shared community kitchen, dining area, living room with cable tv, working stations, play area with ping pong table, billiards table and many board games to keep you entertained and meeting other guests.

We encourage our guests to experience the area by participating in our tours and activities such as: Rawacala Rainforest Reserve where you will find hiking, rappellin and, bird watching tours. Near Omoa town you will find the San Fernando Fortress, a Spanish fortress built in 400 years ago with a lot of history, or visit other beaches in the area, go fishing with local fisherman or take a tour towards the beautiful Sapodilla Keys in Belize!

Cancellation Policy: 3 days before arrival.In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
