Our House is well located in a very quiet and arabesque area near the Mosque in the Medina of Hammam Sousse, we serve a breakfast qualified in an Arabic style and traditional specialty of the region (Hammam Sousse). We offer services like fishing trip or a Hammam near the house, tours guided by myself in the surroundings of Sousse.
My name is Majdi TOUTOU, 28 years old and holder of a professional masters in Marketing and Entrepreneurship and Management. I worked in a Hotel for six years and I have gained experience in the tourist field and now I want to start my own project in this field. Furthermore, I want to present our customs and traditions of our region (Hammam Sousse) to tourists who are interested in cultural tourism. I also give multiple services to my clients such as Local dishes, Coffee talks, Bike rental, Landery, Guided tours to many cities in Tunisia.

Check in from 14:00 to 22:00.
Check out before 12:00.
Reception hours are from 12:00 to 22:00.
Payment upon arrival by cash.
Taxes included.
Breakfast not included - 6 EUR per person per day.
Minimum age restriction to make a booking is 18 years old The guests under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parents/guardians.

I can really recommend Dar Hkaiem for a visit to Sousse/Hammam Sousse. The host is very friendly, has eyes for details and the Dar itself is very clean. Beside that you can have a lovely breakfast with self made bread and some nice fruits in the morning. The rooms itself are nice and the air-conditioning is working very good! You share a bathroom and toilet with only a few others but all these facilities were very clean.
The location of the Dar is on one hand very nice (in a local neighborhood)

I’m all the years I’ve been traveling and staying on low budget I’ve never stayed in a place that was so well taken care of. The whole place is beautiful, there is not even a crack or a tiny little mold on the walls. Hot shower worked amazingly, kitchen fully equipped and there was even a heater in my room. I have a vegan breakfast in the morning and it was lovely. Coffee, tunisian bread with margerine, jelly, “droh” with chamilla, pcissa… I don’t know how to write it but I can guarantee it was DELICIOUS. Had some cookies, fresh juice and water ready for when I arrived in the room. Got an extra blanket and slept like an angel. Honestly, for me this place is one of the best places I’ve stayed in the last 6 months I’ve been backpacking. It’s a 10/10. Thank you so much!!!

Best host we've had in a long time. Toutou is doing an amazing job in his beautifully renovated traditional house. He was always responsive and eager to help make our stay as smooth and pleasant as possible. He had plenty of tips and recommendations for us about activities, sightseeings and local restaurants.
