SEE KEE HOR Cafe and Hostel

This place is an absolute gem! We loved it from the moment we arrived and stayed there for the entire time we were on the island. Jerry, the manager, is amazing, friendly and very helpful. The hut is clean and the outdoor shower is cool! The food is delicious and cooked from scratch (using herbs from his own garden!!). We were originally skeptical since there were no reviews on the website yet, but then discovered that this because the place is very new and under construction. Would recommend!!

Very close to the beach but quite far from everything else. Of course, that's due more to the layout of the island than anything else. Not very social, staff are sonewhat helpful but won't help you book anything besides taxis. The dorms have no air conditioning and there are lots of barking dogs at night, which made it a bit hard to sleep. The best thing about the hostel is the incredible food and drinks.

The location is perfect if you want to go to the beach, restaurant is convenient. The room was simple but clean, could have used a bin.. More toilets need to be open (only one was unlocked), tp more regularly refilled/accessable and the shower 'walls' need to be repaired, it felt like a risk each time I showered because there are some gaps/holes.
