I loved my stay at Snow Leopard. It is a very clean and comfortable hostel with great beds and nice staff. I did not meet a ton of people but I was also traveling in low season. Great location for hikes as at the start of Karakol but around a 25 min walk to the centre.

The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. Close proximity to centre, convenient supermarket next door and across the road. It feels more like a home-stay rather than hostel. The owners are very hospitable and can answer any questions one may have regarding hikes and additional information.

Lovely place to stay in Karakol. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are great. It felt more like a guesthouse than a hostel, and we preferred it to other places we stayed at in Karakol - and better value for money too! Great place to rest our heads and feet and after doing the Ala Kul trek.
