Best asset is the location. Hostel is a bit cramped, not much space in the rooms. For Indian standards it's relatively clean, cleaner than a lot of hotels. Breakfast is simple. Staff is friendly. Nice atmosphere among the guests.

2022: I stayed here in 2019 and was one of the best hostels i stayed at in India. I returned in 2022 hoping for the same experience and quality. Unfortunately, this is no longer the Backpackers Hostel it used to be.
It has turned into a place for local men and women in town for business and looking for a cheap place to stay. There is no backpackers culture, guests were loud and noisy, cleanliness and quality of dorms deteriorated. I’m no longer recommending this to travelers and friends.
