Nice hostel. The beds were a bit shaky but they were also pretty wide, which was nice. People at the hostel were very friendly, both the staff and other guests. It's not unlikely you will meet with new people. Would stay here again.

For the price, this place is supreme. If you’re looking for a great hostel experience, I’d probably just not recommend Houston in the first place as it’s not a great place for backpackers in general. The hostel host(s) are never actively present, however the guy who checked me in was nice. The energy at the hostel was bland and zero efforts given by staff to bring people together. Bathrooms could use a bit of an upgrade too. Overall, great value for the price however not a great hostel overall.
