Upon my arrival, I was told all beds where occupied, when I had already made a reservation online and paid a deposit on the reservation (that was never reimbursed) the staff brought me to another casa down the street and insisted I pay the same fee.

Had the best time at Buena Vista. It was our first stop in Cuba and the host, Gilma was so helpful with sorting money and WiFi etc. Good location close to centre, lovely rooms (we ended up staying in both) and felt very safe. Would recommend 100% and breakfast is great!

The Hostal was a perfect place to stay as a first timer in Cuba! I am a solo traveler and didn’t know much about HolguÃn! The host is extremely kind and there was lots of communication even though there was a language barrier! Breakfast was not included in the price but is definitely worth buying! Perfect location and lovely people! Thank you Gilma!
