The place is alright but you don’t need to expect much, it’s a small hostel. The rooms might get very hot, especially if the fans stop working because of the very common power failures there. The staff doesn’t speak any English and beware that you can’t pay by card almost anywhere in Popoyo and that there is no ATM in town. Other than that it doesn’t cost much, it’s peaceful and the food is alright!

behaves like a hotel, is a budget hostel. no kitchen, pay for the water, more expensive surf boards to rent then other places. other then than, nice place to hang out, food is good, hammocks are nice and its close by beginners bay.

The staff was horrible!!! It feels like they were bullying us. I can speak Spanish and I could hear them gossiping about us.. Also you have to pay for your water?!!! When my friend was trying to talk Spanish they would laugh at her and don’t answer!! Also the rooms were sooo small and not a lot of fans… Just don’t go! There are so many better hostels!!!
