A fine hostel for the price you pay. Hygiene and facilities okay, nice atmosphere and nice staff. Sometimes it did feel a bit more like you were a guest of a group of friends (staff) instead of being in a hostel yourself. Also, there was a rule that it had to be quiet at 11 pm, but this is not enforced even with the staff and since the patio is next to the rooms, that is something to consider if you find that annoying!

Super nice small hostel. Great vibe all around. Easy to meet people but no obnoxious party hostel mood. Good breakfast and the staff know the island well. All around very good facilities: very clean, best equipped kitchen & most comfortable dorm room I've stayed in in the past 6 weeks; good matresses, solid air conditioning and fans, all bunks have private power outlets and a small curtain. Also the garden is really beautiful and peaceful.

Mambembe is a cute hostel, a little outside of the towns centre. It has nice chill areas, very friendly staff, relatively clean bathrooms and fine beds! Breakfast is not included, but it is really good, with homemade bread and banana bread. I enjoyed my stay a lot
