There were no lockers available, so although you could lock the door to your shared dorm, 3 other people also had a key. The floors were quite dirty. There are laundry facilities available if you have 50c coins, and it is close to supermarkets but far from Hamburg central.

Unhelpful and dismissive staff upon arrival. Reception smelt like smoke. The hostel is a floor of an apartment building, not a hostel building. Room security poor. No headlight/charging ports by bed. This place does not have a fitness center as advertised, when I questioned this was directed to the gym in the building at extra cost which is misleading as that's why I chose this hostel. Did not stay for 3 nights as booked, do not recommend. No atmosphere for solo travellers.

The hostel had the perfect location, 3 minutes on foot to the underground station. Three grocery stores are just around the corner. The hsotel is very clean and silent. You have everything you need, can rent towels, etc at the reception. Bed sheets very clean, showers look completely new. The kitchen is accessible for everyone and has all the equipment needed. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and will recommend this to everyone else who wants to go on a few day trip to Hamburg.
