Casa Mauro is a relaxed place to stay and has a pool table and some big chinchorro’s hanging in front. What makes it lovely is the people who work there. They are really, really nice and help you out with everything. Even when your friend - who isn’t in the hostal - falla from a scooter😂. Had a good time. Only thing that might be a bit annoying: the loud cocks in the morning.

Great stay in Moyogalpa! Our private room was so cheap and quite comfortable for what you pay for. Nothing fancy, but very sweet staff, afforable room and straight down from the ferry. Just not the best place to stay to discover Ometepe, you’ll want to stay close to the other smaller volcano for that!

Fine hostel! Very chill and laidback. Plenty of hang out spots outside. Would’ve loved an extra outlet in the room. Labeling system for the kitchen would be great. Super nice to have your own bed instead of bunks - slept like a baby
