Hostal Red

I loved my stay at Hostal Red. Roberto and Yana (spelling?) are the best hosts you could wish for, very friendly and warm; they helped me out with everything from recommendations and taxi's to my Spanish practice. The location is great, in the Vedado neighbourhood, but easy to get to Havana Vieja by bus or (shared) taxi. The hostel is clean, comfortable, sociable and the included breakfast is the best hostel breakfast I've ever had. Honestly cannot recommend Hostal Red enough.

AMAZING hostel! The hosts are the most sincere, friendly people you'll meet and they provide you with everything you need. They make you feel like part of the family. The breakfast they provide every morning is the best I've had in hostels/guesthouses so far. They also give recommendations about parties, concerts and more. Also, they have contacts all over Cuba, so they can arrange stays for you in other cities. The beds, bathroom and other facilities were more than fine as well!

I would recommend this hostel to everyone who is visiting Havana. The best hostel I’ve EVER stayed in!! Roberto and Yani were the nicest people, I felt like a part of the family with them. Also great atmosphere and the breakfast is amazing!! 10/10!
