Greatest location to detox and fully immerse yourself into nature; Ennerdale (though a little tricky to reach!) is such a great spot to explore the Lake District without distraction or crowds. The hostel is so accommodating; the honesty cafè, resources explaining the land use/ownership of the surroundings, extremely comfy beds, games and books, friendly staff are (to name only a few) what make this hostel great. Incredibly priced and worth every penny, I can’t recommend this enough.

A very welcoming team at the end of a long day's walking in the rain, and a very good supper to restore us. Thank you!
The only disappointment was that the drying room did very little to dry our clothes - even the quick drying items.
