We really loved our stay at la Peñita! Lizzeth is an amazing host and person, she took us to see the sunrise and made us feel at home. The food is nice and we met many great people here! Its no luxury but i would definitely recommend :)

La Peñita is a a cute family hostel and Liset is an amazing hostess. She is very welcoming, helpful and just good company. She also invited us to walk to the sunrise early in the morning which we enjoyed. At the hostel you feel like you are part of the family with tasty homecooked meals by grandmother.
There were quite some fans available, however it was still quite hot with the 6 of us. The sanitary area, although a bit primitive, was alright.
We would recommend this location to anyone!

Staying at La Penita was a very special experience. Don’t expert luxury, it’s a true ‘live like a local’ kind of place. Lizzet, who speaks fluently Dutch, does everything to make you feel at home.
I would definitely recommend staying here, you won’t be disappointed.
