When we arrived there was nobody to welcome us. There was a note saying the person would see us in the morning, which was not the case. We had to call her to ask her where we could leave the money we still had to pay.
The rooms didn't look nice and the bed sheets didn't look clean. Overall the property needed so redecoration and cleaning.
I think we paid too much for our stay. The only thing we liked was the view.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. We had to drive a bit further to the highlights of Skye. But we had time enough, so it wasn´ t a problem at all. It´ s a nice place and great value for your money.

Flora Macdonalds Hostel on Skye is a great hostel in a beautiful location!
It is a very quiet place, close to the coast.
The only difficulty I have encountered is that you cannot pay with a credit card. You can only pay in cash or by bank transfer.
And that the hostel is difficult to reach by public transport.
