Montreux is inspirational. This musical town's charm has already cast a spell over many famous celebrities such as Charlie Chaplin, Freddie Mercury and Igor Stravinsky. Thanks to its Mediterranean climate and a pleasant, cosmopolitan attitude, coupled with a great passion for music, Montreux is readily considered the capital of the Vaud Riviera. You can marvel at its colourful flowerbeds both in the direction of Vevey and on the way to Chillon Castle, a fascinating example of medieval architecture. Rochers-de-Naye, with its stunning view of the Vaud, Valais, Bernese and French Alps, is also a fantastic destination.

Fijn rustig hostel, waar zowel mensen alleen als families komen. Ontbijt is niet uitgebreid, maar wel prima. Voor ong. €20 euro kan je ook dineren. Fijne douches, recht tegenover dorms. Goede ligging voor uitstapjes naar de steden of de bergen in. Recht aan het meer van Genève gelegen. Helaas geen eigen keuken om eten te maken en geen gordijnen voor de bedden.

The hostel in the center but pretty close and ir is in front of the Geneva lake, the staff are really friendly and the included breakfast is really complete.
