The Recoleta has had so many rave reviews that we’re not sure what more we can say. According to one past guest, ‘this is a gem of a hostel’, with ‘good beds’ and ‘amazing staff’. With just 36 beds you’re guaranteed a small and friendly atmosphere, perfect for solo travellers looking for new friends or a potential hiking buddy up to Machu Picchu. Just a short walk from Cuzco’s main square, it’s pretty easy to find nearby tour operators and guides to take you along the famous Inca Trail, and with such friendly staff you can expect a warm reception on your return.
