Located in the village of Cartajima, just 16km from Ronda in Andalucia, in the little known Alta Genal valley, the hostel benefits from local walks through resplendent valleys to neighbouring villages, with guided walks by a local expert also available. The area is a mountain bikers dream and popular with birdwatchers, artists and photographers alike.

The magnificent Sierra de Las Nieves National Park is just 10 min by car.

A delightfully laid back atmosphere awaits in this traditionally built 300 year old hostel. Open all year accommodation consists of a dormitory located in a rustic chestnut beamed room, with two double rooms and a private twin bunk room also available.

Perfect location ! Great for relaxing and do some impressive hikes around the area. Mr Botz is a real host! The evening was filled with good food.. he made his chili con carne with gaucemole (YAMMM!) ..laughs, and great stories. Cosy and Nice hostel :) In the morning a cup of coffee and Good breakfast and all ready for our next stop! Thnx Botz for make us feel at home! Hope to see you again in the future!

We enjoyed our overnight adventure. We should of stayed longer to do more of the hikes in the area. Ian is a great host.
