BEWARE This guest house was not as advertised! The property manager was the one to check me in, limited amenities not as listed (there was no one there to recommend places to go nor was there someone to help with booking a kayak excursion as advertised). The person who confirmed the reservation actually lives in the Dominican Republic. The only security on the sliding glass door that led to my room was a bike lock. In a neighborhood that was very sketchy, this did not give me much confidence

Great location, walkable from ferry port. Helpful neighbor to offer a ride to other side of island, air conditioned room, hot and cold water, nice guests downstairs to pass time with. Very responsive host to get us info for tours- was picked up just a short walk away for the bioluminescent tour.
