First thing I noticed when I entered the hostel was the awful smell. The bathroom was not really clean. There were locks available to close the door, yet the door was broken in such a way that you couldn't actually use the locks. On the other hand, the personell was really welcoming and did his best to make my stay as pleasant as possilbe.

Have to be honest here, this hostel was kind of terrible. We had a private room for two, and it was a very dank space with stains in the sheets. The toilets didn't have seats on them and were dirty, the shower was mouldy and clogged. The kitchen and breakfast were sub par. The location wasn't great, but Sheffield isn't that big so it was doable. Only plus point was that the guy in reception was friendly. If you really need a bed in Sheffield like we did then it's ok, but I would not stay again.

Hostel is an a terrible neighbourhood. When we arrived at the hostel there was a drunken guy being anoying with a bottel of brandy in is hand. Next morning he came in to the kitchen with a hangover and wanted to start a fight with my mate over a few eggs. He didn't hit anyone because he was on parrole he said.
I am sorry for the host who did his best to make our stay as nice as possible. But it was the worst hostel experience in my life.
