the place is very nice. Rooms are basic, but very good price/quality ratio. Looks like its set up to be a good place to meet people, but was quite when I got there so can't really tell. What makes this place the best is the jost though: never have I felt so welcome and at home, feels like family and would go miles out of her way to make you have a good stay!

Wendy is wonderful, helpful and makes you feel home. The place is cozy and easy to meet people. The rooms are very basic and it’s nu exemption that you can use the kitchen. The private room couldn’t lock and there were no lockers. Worth of money is a bit skewed.

We had a great stay in La Pijaraña. Claudia and Daniel and the rest of the staff were lovely hosts and always helped us with our questions. Nice that breakfast is included and you could eat it in the lovely garden. The hostel is two blocks away from the central square of Salento but you still have a lot of peaceful nature vibes!! Hammocks were super nice.
