After a few months' rebuilt it finally reopens again in Jun 2017.There are 7 double bed rooms and 15 dorms in total, all ensuite . There are a huge courtyard as well as a cool terrace,and free WIFI all over the hostel.
As the only one International Youth Hostel in Lujiazui area, it is ideally located in the most central area of Shanghai. Less than 10 minutes walking to the two metro stations (line 4 connected the central railway station , line 2 connected the HongQiao airport (SHA) and PuDong international airport (PVG). It is around 15 mins to go to riverside on foot and less than half an hour to walk to Lujiazui.

No kitchen for the guests, although stated here. Which sucks, because it was the reason for me to book this hostel. They meant the restaurants kitchen. The room was so humid, my clothes didnt dry. There was a leakage coming from the neighbours and they forget or mixed up my order a couple of times. Hostel is beautiful and the staff is friendly, but stressed. If they up their hospitality, this rating would already be better. The rooms are really nice and the showers and toilet are new.

The hostel is located in the center of pudong area. Close to the subwaystation and the center of Shanghai. Its an oasis of calm in this busy city. The rooms are clean and beds are wide and big enough. If i have to say something less good: The check-in took a while and the bathroom connected to the room has no door, if someone turns on the light in the night you might wake up.

Arrived late at night and left right after I woke up, so didn’t see much of the hostel. It’s located at the end of a side street. Looked very modern and nice! Good overall experience.
