Hostal Villa Grande is located in an exclusive area of the city (Avenida Balboa) and close to the downtown. It is a new hostel for budget travellers with a nice and cosy atmosphere.

The staff was very nice!!!! Lovely people. Helped me with everything. Unfortunately there were bedbugs in the bed above me… so watch out when you stay here.

Bad location, not very fun hostel and my stuff got stolen. I left my bag on my bed and $120 dollars got stolen out of it, I left some leftover pizza in the fridge that was token within 3 hours and i left my towel out to dry which was also gone within a few hours. The staff were nice and tried to help but this hostel is less then ideal, the only real pro is that it is cheap. But definitely not worth it!

Can’t recommend this hostel enough, honestly just ignore any bad reviews these people don’t know what they’re talking about. great location, absolutely lovely staff who let me use the kitchen after it closed and helped me find shops, plus let me check out really late. Thank you so much for a perfect place to rest for a couple of days❤️ Great place, great price and very clean, the staff are always cleaning!
