Nothofagus was excellent value for money. It was very clean, homely and kept in great condition. The staff, in particular Cecelia were very friendly and helpful. There is no kitchen for guest use but there is a fridge for guests to use. During breakfast we made some sandwiches to take on our hikes. I highly recommend staying here.

Quiet, clean place tucked into a quiet corner of El Chaltén. A very short walk to the main downtown area, the bus station, and the ranger station. Staff was always extremely helpful and kind, and we were able to store our bags in a common area while backpacking.

Our room was spacious and clean. The shared bathrooms were kept very tidy and were cleaned regularly during the day.
The breakfast provided was also very nice.
Wifi was a bit unreliable, but we didn't mind as we were out trekking most of the time we were there.
The staff there were also very helpful and friendly.
