General Group Booking Terms
By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.
- In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
- The booking deposit is non-refundable.
- Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
- Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
- Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
- It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
- Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.
Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions
The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card on arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.
Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Why is our symbol a crab? We adapted our symbol in commemoration to a beautiful crab that unfortunately died in our premises when we bought our first property, the color of the crab was purple, hence the name 'Moro'. This crab was once abundant in the region, inhabiting both the lagoon and the beach. Now, due to the constant growth that the city of Puerto Morelos has had, their number has dangerously decreased. If you are lucky and happen to see these beautiful creatures greet them and protect them on their way home. Thank you for your preference and help us protect this beautiful creature and the environment of our wonderful region. Casa El Moro Hotel welcomes everyone. We can work with you to find a room that meet all you need.
In our rooms you will find all the services you require such as air conditioning, TV, fan, safe and more. We have rooms adapted to long stays such as a kitchenette, refrigerator and basic utensils. We have two terraces, one where you can enjoy a beautiful view of the city, and another terrace where you can work or spend time with your family or get together, as it has tables and chairs and a small grill. We have 22 years providing hosting service
Casa El Moro Hotel Terms & Conditions:
Cancellation policy: 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 15:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards.
This property may pre-authorize your card before arrival.
Breakfast not included.
24 Hours Reception.
No pets allowed.
Hotel / Guests Agreements
1. Safety box- All our rooms have a safe, the hotel is not responsible for any loss of money, jewelry or documents that have not been placed inside.
2. Registration of Guests- The guest will be obliged to register any person who is inside the property, it is totally prohibited the entrance to people outside the rooms, unless they register.
3. Towels: It is totally forbidden to remove the towels from the room. For use in the pool or beach, the guest can request towels at reception, and in case of loss, they will pay a fine of $15.00 USD or its equivalent in national currency.
4. Keys: In case of lost keys, the person responsible will pay a fine of $20.00 USD or its equivalent in national currency.
5. No smoking / Drugs Room - In the hotel rooms it is totally forbidden to smoke or use drugs of any kind. In case of smoking inside the rooms, the person responsible will have a fine of $50.00 USD or its equivalent in national currency for cleaning the room / The use of drugs is totally prohibited inside the hotel. The person responsible for drug use inside the hotel will be referred to the police. There are no exceptions.
6. Rate and Serv. Additional - The guest is obliged to pay the full rate inscribed on the reservation receipt at the time of check-in. The additional services will be paid by the guest at the time of his departure (check out) or during his stay.
7. Data Protection - All personal and legal data in charge of the hotel of guests and guests (if applicable) will be fully protected and will not be shared with third parties.
8. Early Departure - In the event that the guest and their registered guests decide to check out of the hotel before the date mentioned on this registration card, the difference of the night will not be refunded.
