Great place to stay, close to the main beach. Always helpful at the reception. Unfortunately we had a room next to the bar, so it was really loud at night (they played music till 4am, which is definitely toooo long when guest are staying just next to the bar). Everything else was okay :)

The hostel itself was really nice with a great view. You can sit outside and enjoy your breakfast which was really delicious! But the way to the hostel was horrible. Approximately 2 km on a small earth road in between a lot of trees. I was worried about the car every time we had to take the road. The rooms were okay, just a little bit old.

Some friends and I slept in the dorm for 16 people. There was only one bathroom and toilet and only two plug sockets!!Very stressful if you want to charge your phone.After a horrible night we went to the reception and booked a double room. No one told us that breakfast is included while staying in a double room. So we paid for it the next morning and found out a few days later that it was included. No response from the hostel to my email till now. Only the location next to the beach was great.

Really nice place to stay. Looks a little bit "unfinished" inside, but that's not really a problem. Really nice staff. They booked a wine tour for us even though it was very spontaneously. Rooms are big enough. Would defenately stay there again.

The location was great and I liked the balcony to sit and drink it just to have breakfast. We stayed with 7 people in a two + six bed room. The double room was okay, but the 6 bed room was defenately to small, you couldn't even open the door properly! The bathrooms we're horrible. Very old and also not clean. For my next stay in Cape Town I'll choose another hostel

i had a very nice stay at the New Peking Guest House. The rooms are very clean and you´ve got everything you need, even though the rooms are tiny. 'The owner Peter is very helpful, when i left he came down with me and helped me with my heavy suitcase. There are many Hostels in the building. Don´t talk to the people on the ground floor,! just go to the elevator and straight to the hostel.
